0 Pandacan Day on May 30

Pandacan will celebrate it's first ever Pandacan Day on May 30, 2009 as it turns 297 years old.

Here's the Tentative Schedule of Events (First Pandacan Day - May 30) taken from Pandacan1011 website.

5am - Gising na, Pandacan! Pandacan Day kicks off! Two (2) music bands and two (2) groups of Ati-Atihan will wake up the community for the Pandacan Day celebration.

630am - Thanksgiving Mass - Participating churches will hold masses or similar events.

8am - Grand Parade General Assembly - Participants of Lakbayan sa Pandacan Grand Parade will gather on Kalye Certeza. Parade will end with “Lagdaang Bayan” at Central Street and Labores Street. (Route to follow)

Afternoon - Baranggay Games/Events/Contest led by Samahan ng mga Punong Barangay ng Pandacan (SPBP)

7PM - Shows and Performances - Three (3) Performing Arts groups [Teatro Sambisig/NCCA, Teatro Balagtas, and Supervoice] will perform on three (3) different stages at selected Pandacan locations.

10PM - Noise Barrage and Fireworks - Baranggay level - To conclude the success of Pandacan Day’s 297th year.
